The name ‘ddc’ references the collective knowledge and expertise found within the ddc group for every aspect of the planning, design and building construction process.


ddc group offers acumen, enthusiasm and experience in the design, documentation and construction stages of all types buildings – thus ddc.

ddc architects are A+ Members of the Australian Institute of Architects, this special membership provides ddc architects with an extended range of tools, reference material and support to assist the practice deliver the best possible architectural service to our clients.


As A+ Members of the Australian Institute of Architects, ddc architects are subject of the Australian Institute of Architects' Code of Professional Conduct.  The Australian Institute of Architects' Code of Professional Conduct defines ethical standards to ensure the upholding of principles which address obligations to the public, the client, profession and colleagues. 


ddc architects are registered with the NSW Architects Registration Board Registration under the NSW Architects Act 2003.  The responsible architect for the provision of architectural services for ddc architects is Geoff Ferris-Smith, Registered Architect, NSW Architects Registration Board Registration (#8334).


As registered architects in NSW ddc architects must comply with the NSW Architects Act 2003 and NSW Architects Code of Professional Conduct, which sets out the standards expected of an architect in professional practice.


Proffessional Insurances

ddc group maintain both professional indemnity and public liability insurance. Professional indemnity insurance cover is for $6 million. Public liability insurance cover is up to $20 million for any claim. 


ddc group also maintains statutory Workers Compensation Insurance.
